Terra Firma aims to break down boundaries between the environmental sciences and arts by locating corresponding points of interest and knowledge. We believe that through the unfaltering commitment of both disciplines to one process, that of inquiry, we can help facilitate a culture of radical, non-conformist thinkers to address the the unconventional issues of this time and place.
"We (the scientists and the artists) have been moving within our own worlds without considering or understanding the other. This workshop gave us the opportunity to open those doors and ask questions as curious individuals trying to make sense of the world through our own disciplines or spheres. As a participant with a science background, it was a welcoming environment to ask questions and form new ideas." - Hannah Francis, Geologist
